The economy is yo-yoing and no one cal tell wheres it going. But the firearms industry is going gang-buster now. There is an incredible rush to the local gun shop and online web stores. Its mainly panic buying, people are now realizing that the USA is going to have the most anti-gun administration ever seen. obama doesn't believe or care about the second amendment being a personal right, despite the Supreme Court ruling and years of precedent. So people are rushing out to buy guns, any guns, while they can. Best thing to do is, take it slow and hunker down. In two years we have a chance to re-do the House of Representatives; in four the Presidency, the House again and some of the Senate.

If you are one of those buying, buy smart. Junk is still junk,. no matter the price. Buy for the future, and buy the best you can. Go with products from reputable dealers which are going to last and work.

The L5 is a new translucent 30 round magazine made for the 223 / 5.56mm AR-15 / M16 / M4 carbine and rifle. They have an impact resistant translucent polymer body, corrosion resistant steel feed lips and a removable, patent pending, rubber coated bottom. The L5 was designed to be used with current belt carriers and magazine pouches.

They are made in the USA and have an impact resistant translucent polymer body.
The magazine is designed with corrision resistant steel feed lips. The translucent magazine body has the added benefit of having the ability to visually inspect rounds in the magazine.

Single Point Tactical Slings

The innovatiave singlepoint sling allows decent control of the rifle when transitioning to a side arm. The muzzle must be kept in mind so that it does not hit the ground when transitioning to a kneel, crouch or other tasks low to the ground activities.

The Specter Gear MOUT sling has a one inch loop which connects to a flat mount at the receiver adapter and provides a lot flexibility from the main body loop. It has a release buckle which allows the weapon to be temporarily released while still wearing the sling. Specter Gear is also producing this sling with a snap hook attachment point for those who favor that style.

The Blackhawk Industries Storm Sling snaps into the receiver adapter. The separating feature of the Blackhawk Storm sling is that its body loop is partially made of bungee cord, which allows additional freedom of movement while retaining the weapon reasonably well during transitions.

GG&G A2 Flipup Rear Sight - $99.99

When owning a shogtun for self defense purposes, the first upgrade that should be done is to add a buttstock shell holder. This immediately add 5-6 shells to your defensive weapon and usually costs less than $20. The shells are within easy grasp, and they are held securely and quietly with elastic or neoprene. The Shell Holders allow you to not worry about extra shells during times of stress. One less thing to carry in your pocket and they are available immediately. It beats having them rattle around and get dirty and hard to handle from bouncing around in a pocket. Pick up a fresh Tac Star neoprene version every few years as the neoprene sweels a bit over time.
