The title of this book gives you a good hint that Debbie is pro-gun/pro-Second Amendment, but what it does not tell you is that she picked up a gun for the first time on her 45th birthday.
She started to participate in shooting sports, hoping to find something to share with her husband. Now, five years later, this story is about the camaraderie they have found with each other, and with their new friends throughout the United States, through a variety of shooting sports.

This book is not about hunting or fishing and doesn't pertain to domestic violence. It's about shooting sports where the only thing aimed at is clay pigeons, steel and paper targets. Debbie also give hints on ways to introduce women to shooting sports in a fun manner, instead of perceiving the range as a dreaded event.

WHEN ASKED WHY BABES WITH BULLETS? Debbie replied: I wanted a book devoted to women, written by a woman, painting a picture of how or why a gal would get involved in shooting sports. The term shooting sports doesn't involve hunting events. Instead a variety of guns are used for games where each person shoots at paper, steel, clay or balloon targets. These games include a wide variety of equipment and can be played by people from every walk of life. So regardless of age, marital status, or even disabilities, there is a shooting sport for you.
