The new series of GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters can also be used to attach a conventional sling in conjunction with the front sling swivel. A significant advantage of this set up is that expanding or collapsing the buttstock does not affect the sling length. If you wear body armor, a tactical vest or a jacket, you no longer need to re-adjust the sling length due to the extra apparel.

GG&G offers two styles of Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters. Both are designed for professional use being machined from 4140 ordnance steel. They are manganese phosphated black, and can easily be installed by the operator. One of the Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters has a rectangular sling slot that will accept sling webbing up to 1 1/4" wide, such as the Specter Gear Single Point Tactical Sling. The other sling attachment features loop mounting rings for attaching spring-loaded clips like those found on the Chalker Tactical Sling or the Heckler & Koch combat-carry-type slings. The rectangular end plate adapter is available in both right and left handed versions. The loop style is availabel in ambidextrous and right handed.
