MIL STANDARD 1913 PICATINNY RAIL MOUNT: The new one-piece rail mounts are made to Mil 1913 Picatinny standards for the utmost versatility in ring selection and positioning. Each rail is machined from pre-hardened chrome vanadium steel, heat treated and finished in black matte. The area of the base around the ejection port is machined out to prevent any interference with case ejection. These bases are available for Remington 700 long and short actions, Winchester Model 70 short actions and Savage original style short actions.
