The mil marks in our MP-8 and V-Mark rangefinding reticles are valid throughout the entire magnification spectrum of our fixed and variable-power tactical scopes, and the rangefinding procedure with these reticles involves comparing the mil marks to objects of known size. As a handy rangefinding expedient for use in tandem with these reticles, we offer this Pocket Mil Rangefinder.

To use it, simply gauge your target of known size in mils (or portions thereof) using your reticle and then refer to this sliding chart to get a reasonably-accurate range reading. It offers mil measurements in 1/4 mil increments from 0.25 to 6.75 mils and range readings for targets of the following predetermined sizes: 9", 18", 27.5", 36", 48", 60", 72", 84", 96" and 108". The rangefinder itself measures 3"x5.5".
