GLOCK pistols permit almost unrestricted compatibility of the magazines within a caliber and size of handgun. GLOCK magazines have a stiff metal tube encased in the proven GLOCK high-tech polymer. This resists deformation, even when dropped from great height or exposed to extreme environment conditions. Nothing works as well in a Glock pistol as Glock factory magazines, which were designed and produced at the factory in Deutsch – Wagram, Austria. The Glock factory magazines feature a stiff metal tube within the polymer outer housing, which, along with the factory follower and spring, ensures reliable feeding of rounds up the ramp and into the chamber. This is the same polymer your glock pistol is made of.  Due to the stiff metal tube, Glock factory magazines resist deformation, even when dropped from heights or exposed to extremes of heat and cold.

Glock magazines also have almost unrestricted compatibility.  Standard magazines can also be used for backup weapons.  The polymer frame does not require grip shells, giving the magazine the ability to have a double-row staggered configuration.  This makes the Glock pistol superior in firepower to conventional pistol models of the same size.
